Outfit Of The Week: Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr always looks fabulous. In this particular outfit, she combined two very hot trends without any effort: see-trough shirts and animal prints. Being one of the most popular and high paid top models, she obviously knows all the do's and don'ts of fashion. I think her casual-chic look here is really beautiful, perfect for a day in the city: comfortable yet classy.

Outfit Of The Week: Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez was seen arriving at her hotel in New York in this tribal jumpsuit from Michael Kors. Jumpsuits and playsuits have been trending for a while now and it seems that this won't change any time soon. It is a great look if you ask me and can look very sophisticated while comfortable. Selena here with her 1,65 m (5' 5") proves that you don't need a model height to look beautiful in a jumpsuit. The tribal print makes the look casual-chic and perfect for the first sunny days of spring.

Mila Kunis was spotted a few days ago visiting her fiance Ashton Kutcher at the set of Two and a Half Men. She wore a cute all-navy blue outfit: blue blazer, striped top and skinny jeans. Mila really looked fashionable as ever and knows very well that stripes are hot right now!

SOS Split Ends: 10 tips

5:45 PM
Comments (0)
Most of you will relate, if I don't cut my hair regularly, I end up with split ends. It makes your hair look damaged (which it is!) and unhealthy. Here are some tips to remove and prevent those horrible split ends.
Source: Tumblr

1) Cut your hair regularly, every 2 to 3 months. Hair gets damaged after a while. If you remove a few centimeters or about an inch, it'll keep your hair healthy and grow strong.

2) Steer clear of chemicals. Coloring your hair may be beautiful, but damages your hair badly. Try to avoid using them, but if you must, use lots of conditioners and hair masks.

3) Do not abuse your hair. Blow-dryers, curling irons and hair straighteners are enemies of healthy hair. Use them with moderation. Also use protective sprays when applying heat.

4) Treat your hair once in a while to a good hair mask. They are very easy to make yourself! Find some recipes here.

5) Eat healthy. Often overlooked, what you eat can affect your hair! Don't use too much sugar, salt and alcohol.

6) Do not be rough with a brush or a comb. Hair, especially at the ends, is more fragile than you might think.

7) Protect your hair from damaging circumstances. Wear a hat during bright summer days against direct sunlight, watch out when swimming (chlorine is very bad for your hair).

8) Do not rub your hair with a towel in order to dry it. This only promotes breakage. Just wrap your hair in a towel and gently squeeze. When the dripping is over, let your hair air-dry.

9) Do not wash your hair every day. This will assure that your hair gets greasy faster, train your hair into lasting longer and wash it only 2 - 3 times per week.

10) Drink lots of water. This is good for your skin, hair, everything! If you're having trouble drinking just water, try to drink a glass of water for every other thing you drink.

DIY Hair Masks

Hair is great, it can really make or break your look. That's why it is important to make sure your hair is healthy. Here are a few recipes to make your own hair masks. A very simple, quick way to beautiful hair! The magic ingredients are: olive oil, mayonnaise, beer, avocado and banana. Everyday ingredients you can find in every kitchen. Well hello beautiful hair!
Source: Tumblr

Olive Oil Mask
Olive oil contains lots of vitamin E that helps to give your hair a beautiful shiny look. Mix a table spoon of olive oil with a cup of yogurt and apply this mixture on dry (!) hair. Leave it in for 5 minutes and rinse it out with cold water.

Mayo Mask
This may seem weird, but mayonnaise might be your best friend for once. Apply some mayo to your hair (not on the roots!), cover it with foil or a hair cap and leave it in for about 20 minutes. Wash your hair with shampoo afterwards.

Beer Mask
This is a mask that will help get greasy hair crispy clean! Beer contains proteins that help against damaged hair. The alcohol and yeast also help to clean your scalp and hair. Just wash your hair first. Leave a bottle of beer open for one or two hours and pour it over your hair. Massage it in and rinse it out after a few minutes with cold water. Use a scented conditioner to avoid smelling like beer all day.

Avocado Mask
One ripe avocado, a table spoon olive oil and a half cup of milk are your ingredients here. Blend the avocado until you've got a smooth puree, and mix this with the other ingredients. Cover your entire hair (roots 'til ends) with the mask and leave it in under a hair cap for at least 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and very thoroughly to make sure every bit of avocado is out of your hair.

Banana Mask
Take a banana and squeeze it to a paste. Mix this up with a table spoon of olive oil. Spread the mask over your hair, wrap it in aluminium foil and leave it in for 30 minutes or so. Rinse it out with cold water.

Comments (2)
Hi everyone! I wanted to share with you my favorite dresses from last night's Oscars!

Amy Adams
You can never go wrong with classy navy-blue. Amy looked stunning in this classic long gown with a subtle peplum. Sadly she couldn't take home the Oscar for her role in American Hustle, but she definitely won with this beautiful look.

Anne Hathaway
Anne goes rock-chic! With her pixie haircut and this black dress with metallic accent, the picture is just right. The long black dress highlights her beautiful figure. Anne kept her make-up and accessories simple to make sure the dress got all the attention.

Cate Blanchett
Cate looks absolutely beautiful in this Armani dress. She also won the Oscar of Best Actress for Blue Jasmine, so it was a win-win night for her. It was not her first Oscar, she won in 2004 Actress in a Supporting Role for The Aviator. And besides those two wins, she was nominated three other times. So it is clear that Cate is no newbie here at the Oscars.

Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer was in the running for her second Oscar yesterday for her role in American Hustle after winning the Best Actress Oscar in 2013 for Silver Linings Playbook. She didn't win, but looked stunning doing so. Her dress is both simple and head-turning at the same time.

Kate Hudson
Kate wore a low cut dress which fits her perfectly. Metallics are trending, as shown on the red carpet, and Kate here shows everyone how it's done.

Kristin Chenoweth
Kristin, best knows for her roles in Glee and Pushing Daisies, was wearing a very beautiful gold dress. She clearly also hopped on the metallics train. The detailing on the dress is amazing if you ask me. The neckline makes the total look very special.

Lupita Nyong'o
Lupita has only acted in a few productions, but she's clearly talented. She won the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for the movie 12 Years a Slave. Lupita was wearing a Prada dress which was designed especially for her, the color reminds her of her home land Nairobi. The light blue color of the dress matches beautifully with her skin tone.

Sandra Bullock
Sandra looked classy as ever. The dark blue color of the dress she wore is timeless. Her classic hairdo matched the look perfectly. Sandy was nominated for her role in Gravity. She lost the Oscar to Cate Blanchett, but the movie did win 7 other Oscars.

Outfit Of The Week: Kendall Jenner

8:19 PM

This Sunday's Outfit Of The Week is this great look of Kendall Jenner. Her look is simple but very stylish if you ask me. She rocks a black-and-white outfit with a blue color splash in the form of ankle boots. She combines all this with the Celine nano bag, one of the cutest bags ever, in my opinion. I really like the black coated pants she's wearing, it's a great alternative for those who like the look of leather pants but don't really dare to wear them.
